DEVELOPMENT TIME: All self-tanning products display an instant, visible color, which is only a temporary guide. Like makeup, this guide color serves as a physical indicator to show you where you’ve applied the product and where you’ve missed spots. This guide color is water-soluble and washes off as soon as it comes into contact with water. As long as the product remains intact for at least 4 hours after application, the actual tan will develop properly. The tan will be fully developed 24 hours later, regardless of whether the guide color was rinsed off after 4 hours or not.
GOLDEN RULES: Any application of a ST.TROPEZ self-tanning product must remain on the skin, completely undisturbed, for at least 4 hours, with the exception of Self Tan Express products. This is necessary for the tan to develop properly. To ensure a flawless finish, avoid: perfume, creams or lotions, swimming, showering or bathing, sweating, hair removal, exercise, and tight clothing.
